Hoodia Buyers Checklist
Hoodia Diet Buyers Guide - follow these guidelines to make sure you get the REAL product and get the right dosage. Otherwise you will NOT get the results I have had with the cactus. The only companies I have found out of 24 that sell real hoodia and pass this checklist are in the Sales Guide.
1) make sure any product you buy is 100% natural, 100% stimulant-free, 100% ephedra-free and 100% caffeine-free. At this point enough is not known about the effects of mixing the incredibly strong Hoodia with any of these other diet products. Besides it has been our experience that you won’t need any of these others to lose lots of weight.
2) Dosage - I weigh 155 pounds (down from 182) and 1500 mg was plenty for me. It took my appetite away and didn’t make me queasy like Ephedra does. After a while I reduced the dosage down and tried the 750 mg only. They worked perfectly. If you are in my weight range, I recommend buying the smaller 750 dosage pills (NOT weaker mixes of Hoodia) or liquid hoodia. If you weigh more than I do just take two capsules. Hoodia is not harmful and it is important to TEST the dosages and pay attention for the first few days to ensure you are getting the right dosage for YOU.
Many companies will tell you not to go with a product LESS than 400mg in size. I understand why, because they don’t want you to be disappointed and quit. If you get too little of the source material responsible for the appetite suppressing quality of Hoodia your appetite won’t be suppressed. Everyone is different here. Just be advised that you CAN and will want to vary your dosage based on your particular needs and existing weight.
3) Buy from a supplier that gives you verifiable independent lab analysis with a Certificate of Analysis showing on the site. Why would you buy a from a company that cannot find a reputable scientific lab to vouch for their Hoodia product. That would be a waste of time, money and could be dangerous. My experience has been when you buy “knock off” products it always ends in disappointment. At my age disappointment is one of the things I hate the most.
4) Too good to be true - If the company is offering more than 90 capsules or large oversize capsules (more than 400mg) for less than $25 - BEWARE. Real Hoodia is not cheap to obtain or process correctly. But dollar for dollar, Hoodia gets you the greatest diet help and results for the least money.
5) Imitations and Dilution’s - do not buy 20:1 extracts as they are extremely difficult to analyze and determine if they really contain real Hoodia in the amount that will actually work (except in the case of liquid hoodia). Do not buy dilution’s, special mixtures, etc. as they may contain no Hoodia Gordonii at all. Purchase product containing 100% Hoodia Gordonii Powder and no other herbs.
6) Ingredients - ONLY the core from the aerial stems of the plant have been identified as having the active ingredient necessary to eliminate hunger. Products containing ANY kind of filler, pulp, skins, flowers, roots or other parts of the Hoodia Gordonii variety of plant are inferior and are diluted and will probably not work. Products claiming to use 100% of the Hoodia Gordonii plant are either misinformed or giving you useless bulk. There is no benefit in the outer skin which makes up a
good percentage of the weight of the plant.
7) Origin - Insist on original South African source material. Do not accept cheap substitutes from China, Mexico or other countries. ONLY use hoodia from approved South African sources operating as government-approved cultivators. Recent directives from South Africa warn that the supply of hoodia has been outstripped by the demand. The response from the South African government has been to limit export permits to control and conserve hoodia resources.
8) False Claims - Stay away from a company that tells you it can suppress your appetite with one capsule only. You will need at least a days worth of dosage to begin the effects. Companies like this typically sell fake product or product containing so little of the hoodia as to be worthless. Take it from somebody that has been there, bought the stuff, and used it successfully.
This website has 77+ pages of information on Hoodia Gordonii and how it will definitely make you lose weight. If your tired of reading and just want to order some visit these hoodia retailers. They seem to have the best deal. I ordered mine on Monday and had it sent overnight. Started taking Hoodia on Tuesday night and didn’t eat again until Friday night at a late party. I wasn’t really hungry then but I didn’t want to be rude at my wife’s get together. Anyway I have been taking the Hoodia Gordonii for 2 months now and the results are incredible. I only eat when I want to now, and at special events, because I really have no appetite to speak of. The plant is so strong it even takes away your thirst, so make sure and drink lots of water! It feels pretty cool not being controlled by stomach pains

I need to know if their are any effects on people with high blood pressure, who are taking meds for it…..

Pure Hoodia has NOT been shown to negatively effect people taking medicines for heart disease, arthritis, blood pressure, hypertension, multi-vitamins, glucosamine, diabetes, anti-depressants, chondroitin, calcium, etc. as far as I know. But I am not a doctor so if you are concerned that it might be a problem for you in particular consult your physician. It ONLY affects the brains signals concerning hunger and thirst.

I bought Hoodia Diet 57. It says 100% pure south african hoodia 1000mg. It has green tea extract and cocoa extract. I am supposed to take 2 capsules 1 hour before a meal. The box doesn’t say a maximum daily dosage. Have you heard of this? Do you know where I could find the maker? Does this sound like it is real hoodia?

I do not recommend Hoodia Diet 57 - I have tested the major distributors of hoodia over and over and the ONLY ones that work are found as approved and tested suppliers of hoodia diet products
