Hoodia and Drug Screen
An addiction recovery center staff member asked “Does hoodia alter any drug screen.” I honestly do not know if hoodia affects a drug test or not. If a company performs random drug tests then I would suggest not taking hoodia to be on the safe side or better yet ASK the drug testing companies to tell you whether they see hoodia coming back incorrectly. Pure Hoodia has NOT been shown to negatively effect people taking medicines for heart disease, arthritis, blood pressure, hypertension, multi-vitamins, glucosamine, diabetes, anti-depressants, chondroitin, calcium, etc. as far as I know. But I am not a doctor so if you are concerned that it might be a problem for you in particular consult your physician. It ONLY affects the brains signals concerning hunger and thirst.

I have been on heart meds for several years due to having 2 heart attacks in 2002.. I take meds for high blood pressure and for high cholesterol and a blood thinner. I read all of the “side effects” that others had enetered and found 1 instance of “CHF”. Are there any stories of issues/side-effects with people in my state? I have been told by my doctor that I need to lose 50-60 lbs. This is weight has been gained after the heart attacks. Please let me know if there is something that Ican take to my doctor to receive some “buy-in” on her part to support this regimen.

i recently tested positive for benzodiazepine. I was taking the hoodia fusion. Im already on a medication for stress and anxiety. I only take the meds that my doc. has prescribed for me. Help! he thinks im abusing other drugs. If anyonye knows if there is an ingrediant in hoodia that would cause this I need to know..

I do not know of any side effects of taking hoodia other than those shown be most people on the weight loss diaries found at http://hoodiagordoniiguide.com/hoodia-side-effects-2.htm and they mostly consist of cramps for a day or two, loss of appetite (thats the purpose of hoodia), dry mouth usually caused by people not drinking since hoodia covers up thirst as well as hunger.
